Voices for Water is joining hands with other organizations across Africa to denounce water privatization by joining other CSOs to commemorate the 5th Africa Week of Action Against Water Privatization which runs from 13 – 18 October 2025 under the theme: Public Water for Climate Resilience.
As part of the 2025 Zimbabwe Actions, Voices for Water is:
1. Running an online petition against water privatization in Zimbabwe: The petition can be accessed through: Petition · Challenge Zimbabwe’s Water Privatization Directive – South Africa · Change.org
2. Running a short documentary amplifying the voices of various Zimbabwean indigenous communities on water privatization. The documentary can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdb2hV7O-tw
3. Voices for Water will also hold an online meeting to amplify the voices against water privatization in Zimbabwe
